The Association for Talent Development (ATD) is a professional membership organization supporting those who develop the knowledge and skills of employees in organizations around the world. The association was previously known as the American Society for Training & Develop-ment (ASTD). We support the talent development profession by providing trusted content in the form of research, books, webcasts, events, and education programs. We host a variety of con-ferences several times a year, including the premier international gathering for talent development practitioners. Linda joined the previously known organization, the American Society for Training & Development in Orange County, CA where she was an active board participant in the late 80s. She has recently joined the Tucson Chapter and has participated in several jointly held conferences with the Phoenix-based Organizational Development Network since moving to Southern Arizona.
